Thread: carb float bowl drain

one of my bikes is missing the drain plug/knob on the bottom of the float bowl. i rebuilt the carb today and whoever owned it before me used a lot of threadlocker to keep it from leaking, so now i have a perfectly good carb that i cant use. does anybody know where i can buy that plug or happen to have a spare i could buy?

Id be making sure the threads being stripped out isnt the reason for the thread locker before spending any more time on it. It may be Ebay time for another carb body

nothings stripped, i pulled one out of another bike to check. honda has discontinued this part, but id hate to have to buy a complete carb just for that

You can buy a crapper carb pretty cheap on ebay. Fill the hole full of JB Weld if you dont want to spend any money on it and be an animal
