    carb and intake questions

I have different intakes and some seem to have a angle to them where the carb mounts so it wouldn't sit level for the float to work properly, does the ct all use the same intakes.now another question,I cant remember which way the bushing that the needle seats to in the carb body pushes out,top or bottom.does the smaller hole on the bushing go up or down referencing the carb. Thanks in advance
