Some of the things (turn signals, horn, tail/brake light, neutral indicator, speedometer illuminator, turn signal indicator) all run off the battery, so you should be able to just turn on the ignition and those should work, providing the ignition switch is good, the battery is good, the fuse is ok and your flasher unit is ok. The headlight and hi/lo indicator light runs off the lighting coil so the engine must be running for that to work. Does the bike run? Do you have the green ground wire hooked up at the tailight? Have you tested the switches to make sure there are no shorts there? Test the flasher unit and rectifier to make sure it works. If all this checks out ok, I would say it is either a faulty ignition switch or you have a short in your wiring harness somewhere.
Hi.Do u have a manual with a wire diagram.They are pretty helpful.This cannot be stressed enough.BUY A MANUAL.They are worth the money.Then goe fishing.
