Howdy, I love to work on bikes and a friend gave me his '71 or '72 trail 70 to see if I could get it running while he is overseas. One item I found is that the fuel shutoff lever on the carb hits the bowl drain screw so that I cannot move the lever completely into the on (non-reserve) position. It does not look like the lever is bent in. Is something setup wrong? The pics I've seen on-line show the lever in the correct orientation (not 180' out) and the drain screw is twisted in until tight. Thoughts?
