Thread: Hard to shift

I have a 1982 ct70 that i'm having trouble shifting up the gears while riding.

I can get it into first gear fine but the next two gears I have to use my heal to lift up on the shifter, going down is fine any ideas on the problem.

Have you adjusted the clutch?? My Z50 was doing the same thing and it wound up being the shift star was loose. Popped clutch side case off tightened it up and I was good to go.
