    Hose on carb

I was reading some posts on the carb on my CT70 and one of the posts suggested that if that hose leaks it`s because the float isn`t set correctly and the chanmber is overflowing. Is this true? Is this an overflow system or is it just to drain fuel??

    Thanks.

Im no expert but either your float is sticking or float adjustment tab is out of adjustment. you can try bending the small adjustment tab down slightly on float. When the bowl is filled with gas the float rises and the tab end of the float should be pushing down on needle, not allowing more gas in bowl. If it sticks when float is in the low position gas will over fill bowl and run out the overflow. Also your one of your floats may have a leak (hole or crack ) in it (float fills up with gas and sinks-wont float) and would need replaced.
    Hope this helps
