I have my entire 1970 CT70 taken apart but I can not figure out how to get the fork set apart from the frame. I got the large nut off the steering head but can not get the fork apart. What gives?

If I am not mistaken - you need to unscrew the chrome rings above the rubber boots. And remove the nut at the top of each fork on the top clamp.
I do not own a k0 - But I just watched a video on YouTube earlier today that went into this.
I could be wrong.

Thanks for the info. I actually figured it out and came back here to write that I had an official brain fart but in the end the forks are off and the bike is officially apart awaiting rebuild. Thanks again.
You need to remove the entire handle bar holding assembly. The large nut in the center and the two bolts on the sides. Once that's removed, there's another nut in the center that needs removed.
