    Installing the flywheel cover

The 72 CT 70 that I am fixing had no left side when I bought it. The flywheel, part of the windings and the entire left side engine cover was missing. My question is this? Is there a gasket that goes on between the flywheel cover and the left side of the engine case? I have ordered the left cover, the points cover and its gasket and the screws. But I don't see a seperate gasket for the left side cover? Thanks for any help.

    Rick

    gasket

No gasket on the cover. There is a gasket on the small round cover that accesses the timing marks...
