Horn and taillight should work, not the headlight. Headlight on with engine running.
What year CT?
1970
The Horn and Brake light should work in the first ON position even with the engine not running. In the second ON position the tail light and horn will work even with the engine is not running. As mentioned before, the headlight and gauge cluster lights work only when the engine is running.

There has been a ton of questions asked about this same issue in multiple threads. Is there a stick thread about this somewhere to point users too?

The wire harness that is in my ct70ko is the same as my H model the ko harness was in bad shape so I swapped them .The H model is a long way from be started so I used the harness it trying to solve some of my wiring problems because of corrosion . It can be confusing for some one that has little electrical background but I'm learning. The repair manual shows one kind for the ct70ko and another for the ct70h then the owners manual for the ct70ko shows the one like the H model but it is the owners manual is for the KO so it should work.![]()
