Hi.My clutch lever, the one in the side cover walks out then the spring pops off.i tried adjusting it. The manual says loosen the lock nut, turn adjuster clockwise till resistance is felt.Turn counterclockwise a 1/8 to 1/4 turn.then check freeplay on the cable.3/8ths-3/4in.did it.. still walking out.i have the original cable.Im leaning toward a streched cable.anyone have this problem!

Old CT- If I understand you right, the whole lever comes out of the right hand side cover? If so check here- http://www.mrcycles.com/fiche_section_detail.asp - it's for a cl70, they don't have a fiche for a ct70h, same part tho- I think your missing part#8 pin clutch lever stopper part# 228-035-000. It's under the round cover and is held in place by the cover itself

Just tried my link did not go to right page, just look up a 1970 cl70 k1 then look for right crankcase cover. The part looks like small nail or rivet, I bet you could make one, or if you have a good Honda dealer you now have the part #

    Lightbulb Manual Clutch Lever ?

Hi Gary,U hit it right on the head.Thank u for your reply!I figured it out thursday nite.At first i thought the tiny hole was for grease or something.I was looking at it for tiny threads inside it.nope.Im thinkin i know theres a notch in it somewhere?I had a piece of a broken speedo cable that i used its good now.I cut it so the cover touches it.Do u recomend a little grease on the inside of the lever?
