Thread: Page 38 Front Fork

Here is the page from the manual regarding the question I posed yesterday about wrapped tape around the upper spring holder.
Question is- Does anybody do this or not?

I never have....i re-use the stock rubber sleeve.

Mine appeared to have a thin plastic sleeve of some sort, which came out in little slivers when I took the springs off the holders. Of course one should expect that after 40 years and having never been apart.
