    Shifting?

Hi, my k3 rides great and the clutch doesn't seem to be slipping at all. But doesn't like to shift when im sitting at an idle or when its not running, when im riding it will usually shift great besides it will occasionally act like its in neutral when shifting between 2nd and 3rd. Ive adjusted the clutch and it seems better but is still kinda goofy, is this normal? I also changed the oil twice, the first time the oil was black and had metal shavings in it, but second time after riding for awhile was almost perfectly clear. Any ideas?

I had the same problem with my KO. The only 'fix' I found was to open the clutch side and manually bend the shift fork. But, this isn`t an easy job as the shift fork is tempered steel. When you shift down, the fork doesn`t quite engage the gear, so a slight adjustment seemed to fix mine. I guess over time the distance between the forks increases making it harder to shift. The other option might just be to buy a new shift fork. I`ve never tried that yet.
