    Shock cover in new rear shock?

    Hi
    I want change my shock for new aftermarket, but I want to keep oem cover or new shock Already contain cover.
    OEM shock cover caps will fit over this kitaco rear shock or other?

    I believe those Kitaco shocks accept the OEM skirt. The OEM shocks can be tricky to get apart. Hopefully the Kitacos aren't equally difficult.

    You'll need two different spring compressors. Most shocks use springs the same diameter, or slightly smaller, than the upper cap. That leaves no shoulder with which the spring can be compressed from the end. A fork-type spring compressor is requred.

    With OEM shocks, the covers are wider than the springs allowing the spring & cover to be compressed from the end.

    already I know measures diameter of springs kitaco, daytona takegawa all have 50mm
    inside diameter of OEM cover = 44mm, then this impossible fit over spring

    I think the OEM rear shock honda innova 125 or nice 110 can put (45mm diameter spring)

    What shock covers are those pictured? they don't look like my KO's or K1's. Did they change to a different style in the later years?
