    Stator coil

Just bought a new stator primary coil for my 1978 CT70 and in going to install it, have noticed the old one had a yellow wire attached to one end that goes to the ignition switch and a green wire that goes to the recitifer. However, the new primary coil, which is supposed to be for my year as per DRATV, only has one white wire. So do I just solder both the green and yellow wire to this one white wire or did they sell me the wrong part?

On the outset, i would have to say that the joining of the 2 wires would be a mistake. My best advice would be to email Jack. He usually replies fast & can give an explanation on what the deal is right away. In short, ask the guy who sold it to you. He knows best.
