Thread: top speed of a stock CT70

Just curious, but what is the approx top speed of a stock CT70 KO with an average size rider? I haven't seen this stat listed anywhere.

I think its about 40mph.

thanks, any simple tweaks to get some more giddy up out of it. i know back in the day just for kicks i pulled the air filter out and it made a huge difference (obviously this is not an option but a better flowing filter might be) other than that idea exhaust possibly. i guess i'm not looking to change the head, carb, etc, but if there is some fine tuning for those in the know that could improve HP then I would be interested in that. thanks again.
