    two 2 cool....wow

ok check this out. http://www.two2cool.com/ i found it while searching the planetminis.com site. they seem to thrash pretty hard on their engines which are the same as ours! mostly. many swear by this stuff. if it works seems like it would be a great help! a cooler engine is a happy engine .

Dunno about this stuff. Could be great, might be snake oil (proverbially speaking). You're headed off on a trip soon, not really the best time to be experimenting with unknown products. Save it for when you return. In the meantime, I'd pop for a few quarts of Motul and call it a day.

OK so i ordered some 2tocool today. Hopefully it will be here before my trip. A qucik search of this stuff on planetminis and thumpertalk leaves my head spinning. Im skeptical to say the least, but at least ill try it. Ill try most anything at least once. I cant see it harming my engine, although it may not help.

I plan on doing a somewhat scientific experiment. This is my plan. First ride my bike around a said rout in my town that will be 10-15 miles. Doing this with clean fresh oil, and noting my oil temps with my oil temp dipstick. Drain oil, add clean fresh oil with 2tocool, and repeat same riding course as before, and note temps. If 2tocool works, my oil temp should be lower.

I would like some help with this from you guys, because if this works, i think we all will probably use it. But what oil should i test? Im thinking something not bike specific and not synthetic? Those test will come later.

Any other ideas to help in this?

U should just keep logging more miles on it,ur temp will go down as the bike fully breaks in.I dont recomend synthetic oils, use what what oil u like best.Let me know what temp the bike runs when u have a 1000 miles on it.Mine runs 170 max on a hot day.Today it was quite cool here,a 20 min ride yielded 145 degrees! You will be surprised when u put some miles on it,what temp u will be at this time next year!

OK skeptics, listen up. I tried the 2tocool today and this is my first report.

I took a 15 mile ride , not being to aggressive, and allowing the oil to reach the highest i am willing to let it go. 250 degrees. After the oil hit 250, i added the 2tocool and instantly .....nothing. It may have dropped to 240, but the engine wasnt running. fired it up rode 3 miles, and then my beeper went off to return to work and save someones life. Im a RN and i work i the Heart cath lab. So i rode back 3 miles to my house like somones life depened on it! Cause it did, and oil temps stayed at 250. So as for now it was a waste of money, but i will continue to evaluate it.

    Stay tuned!

OK, Just got back from the mountains where i was able to clock off another 200 miles, so now my new 125 has close to 400 miles, as for the 2tocool. My enine never got over 250! so it seems this stuff doesnt work. I plan on calling the guy and speaking with him, to see what he says.

Ive Been racing cars for more that 25 years , and there has been company after company claiming this and claiming that, hell there was even an infomercial claiming that the engine would run without oil if treated with joe blows engine treatment. And even showed them drain the oil out and run the engine with no valve covers on it WHILE spraying water all over the valves...Well duh water is a lubricant !! Anyway I digress. I have never run into any "Additive" that worked or heard of it working. Save your money. If your worried about temp, add an oil cooler and put in another quart of oil! that is what works. Dean

I agree with Dean on this one. The last time I fell for something like this was about seven years ago. The product was Redline's "Water Wetter", which claimed a 20 degree drop on coolant temperature. It might make a difference in a pure racing setup, if you only run distilled water but in a street car with antifreeze/water it didn't do &$%!all. I ended up installing a larger radiator. Face it, we all want to believe in the latest "miracle product" and even fall for the claims on occasion. But, it's still buyer beware. When you think about it, a specific claim of a specific temperature drop is ridiculous; how the hell could anyone make an accurate blind guess of this type? Without knowing a lot of specifics about a givien vehicle, it's nothing more than a specious claim. Oh well, live & learn. The only truly stupid people are the ones that never make mistakes. If it seems too good to be true...
