Hi,
just new to the site and bought a z50r , what I think is a early 1980's Z50r. Having some problems with the mechanics, the clutch catches as soon as 1st is engaged and you have to hold the bike back as it will not idle in any gear. I can hold the bike back in 1st and the engine revs up when throttling. The second problem is the engine seems very low on power, understand the clutch/Gearbox is an issue and not helping but what bits normally need replacing in a rebuild of the engine. My last question is should the gears change be 1 up, 2 down ? Is this a gearbox off a C50 moped?
