Looks like a decent daily driver right now. If you restore it like new are you still going to take it in the dirt? That's the dilema I'm facing.

I dont need to restore ( In great shape as it is 95% original), I am just upgrading, and yes I do plan to take it to the dirt, I dont want it sitting in my garage like it did for a year , and the only legal place to ride is dirty!

Well its been two years but I finally ordered the parts and they are on the way! Will replace all this on may 2-4 weekend.
Engine, Electrics (Keep 6V), Chain, Rear sprocket, Rear wheel bearing, and Brakes.

Does anyone know what the best way to support the bike while rebuilding everything? I don't have anywhere to hang it from or a motorcycle table. Any other suggestions, I would like to take the engine out then remove the rear wheel at the same time. Also would like it to be fairly portable. Thinking I might make some sort of front wheel support, and tie it into the handlebars somehow.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Steven
