Thread: Carb modification question

Alright i have seen this application quite a few times now especially when i comes to modified trail bikes. I would like my carb to look like this.

--what kind of application is on the carb which looks like a air horn? is it a fitting that mounts on carb or, is it a complete carb?

Its just an intake trumpet, i bought a few for the twin carbs on my mini(car). Just work out the od of the filter side of the carb and buy one on ebay. Though i wouldnt ride her far without a filter, more of a show option. But you can buy filter socks to put over the trumpets

Those are more commonly known as velocity stacks. make sure to get some sort of filtration for them.
