    Dirty girl with pictures

We went riding this weekend in the Sierra National Forest a few miles from Yosemite. We were 4,000 feet up in the mountain trails having a blast. It was a cool misty day and it had recently rained so the trails were slick but, the HKO handled like a champ! The thing climbs like a billy goat. I had forgotten how much fun these were on steep tight trails. I snapped a few pictures of the Trail 70 before cleaning her up. I enjoy restoring these but, enjoy riding them even more! She's got 672 miles on her since the restoration. She definitely doesn't sit in the garage much.

A bike that's never ridden is a paperweight. A bike that is ridden is fun. A bike that's ridden often and near the limit...is a helluva lot of fun.

I like it! Fantastic idea. "Trail 70's doing dirty things"

I just realized when washing her, that there's a stick/branch stuck near the kick starter/oil dip stick. I must have brought that back with me. You can actually see it in the first picture I posted.

    Hey,
I got a question for your guys. When you take your bikes out trail riding and they get really muddy, what all do you use/do to clean then and keep them in good shape? Any tips?

    thanks,
    Scuba

Dish soap, water, a soft cloth, and a lot of TLC.
