newbie from SGV So Cal - video

New to the forum, just found it last night. seems like a good place to learn about upgrades and keeping my bike road worthy.
Heres a little video of me messing around thanksgiving weekend with my 1980 trail 70.

Honda Trail 70 GoPro HD on Vimeo

looking foward to some group rides with fellow trail 70 riders around so cal.

That video is great! I thought you meant you had the wrong forum when you took it down, lol! Anyway where in the SGV are you? I need to get a GoPro!

That's funny because I didn't realize I was in the 50 section either!

NIce bike, in good condition. Mine topped out at 35mph, even with a new carb. What I like most about these bikes is they sound like theyre going alot faster than they actually are. Welcome aboard!

Kidishi, Im in Pico Rivera. Epic i threw on a new carb on there a when i bought the bike a few years ago, 35 mph is usually its top speed, had to tuck to get it to 40.

The vid is great. I really liked the shot looking down the road for the inevitable fly-by.
Makes me nervous though seeing someone ride w/o glasses on of some sort.

I moved this thread, to keep the videos in the same folder...makes them easier to find, hopefully.

Nice job with the creative camera angles, bike sounds surprisingly strong for a stocker, runs well, too.

Have to agree with Dave, riding with no eye protection is even riskier than no brain bucket. I no longer own a pair of riding goggles without at least a couple of battle scars. Hard to believe how forcefully small objects can hit at relatively low speeds.
